The price for three rooms should include the price for pre-treat with quality carpet cleaning chemicals. However many vendors do not tell you this, charging additional prices at the door for pre-treat that ends up costing more than the total price originally quoted. The pre-treat should not be plain water and the price should not vary from the advertised price with exception to add-on’s by the client after a technician has arrived to provide service. Additional may be charged for spotting and extreme heavily soiled travel areas.
It is the clients obligation to pay for additional spots and up-sell items requested by the client that were not the original intended job.
Venders have been known to charge extra for Deep Cleaning. Non-Deep cleaning just means that the vendor turned down the pressure on their machine which inhibits good cleaning. The next step is for the vendor to ask the client if they want deep cleaning and then charge more for deep cleaning. To run a truck mount machine at its normal operating pressure would provide the client deep cleaning as a mater of normal practice.
