Shown at right is a Portable Carpet Cleaning Machine, lacking water temprature to kill odor and disease causing bacteria. Additionally, portable machines introduce large amounts of water to the carpet and pad, in an attempt to float the dirt to the surface. However, portable machines lack sufficient suction power to remove excess water and dirt. The result, dirt is pushed to the carpet backing and pad underneath, the dirt is still there and will resurface. Excess water is left in the carpet requiring longer drying times. |
